Eyes Wide Open
Something that I’ve been trying to teach myself. From the details of my craft to the stages of my life I have realized that I must keep my eyes wide to see things that previously, I may have missed. Unsuspected people, hidden lessons, unique details, memorable experiences; they could each be so easy to miss if I didn’t wish to seek them each out.
One of my favorite things about the camera is that it gives you the unique opportunity to share your perspective with the world. Whether it be with a still image or a video, I am able to capture the uniqueness of a subject and present it to the world. And that is the goal of my work, to capture the beauty, the joy, the pain, the victories, the defeats, and all of the details in between.
Alongside my work I also enjoy playing disc golf, cooking and baking, reading nonfiction, losing fantasy football leagues, and most of all, trying new things.
